Nikon Adds Three NIKKOR Wide Angle Lenses
Nikon Adds Three NIKKOR Wide Angle Lenses. There’s a new wide-angle lens for every photographer, from professionals to enthusiasts, among Nikon’s newly introduced NIKKOR lenses—the AF-S Fisheye NIKKOR 8-15mm F/3.5-4.5E ED, the AF-S NIKKOR 28mm F/1.4E ED and the AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm F/4.5-5.6G VR.
For professional photographers looking to capture an unusual perspective of the world, the FX-format AF-S Fisheye NIKKOR 8-15mm F/3.5-4.5E ED represents Nikon’s first fisheye zoom (the lens also can be used on DX-format lenses). The latest member of Nikon’s Gold Ring Series of premium lenses for high-res Nikon DSLRs, it features three ED elements to reduce chromatic aberration and two aspherical lens elements to minimize coma. The front lens element is coated with a fluorine coating to help resist dirt and smudges, while Nikon’s Nano Crystal Coat helps to reduce ghosting and flare. An electromagnetic diaphragm helps to achieve consistent exposure during high-speed shooting and smooth video capture.
